			ELECTRICAL – Shore Power

1.	DT, ME	Done Used 2 NEG cables instead of 2 POS cables. See NOTE 1. 5/19/00	Disconnect two of the FB-0201 (POS) cables in the port cubicle in maneuvering. Continuity check the two cables to identify the other end in after battery. Tag the cables #1 and #2 at both ends.
2.	DT	Done Used 2 NEG cables instead of 2 POS cables. See NOTE 2. 5/19/00	Megger the two of the FB-0201 (POS) cables. Record the insulation resistance of each cable to ground.

NOTE 1: Removed a section of the NEG bus bar in Port Motor Cubicle and stored it and the mounting hardware in the Maneuvering Electrical locker #7.

NOTE 2: Resistance to ground approximately 10 megohm on both cables.

			ELECTRICAL – Emergency Lighting

1.	DT, ME, JE	Done 5/20/00	Go through the boat and place all emergency light switches in the ON position. Close the power disconnect switch in after battery well. Megger the power cables in after battery well. Record the insulation resistance of each power cable to ground.

NOTE 1: Still need to check lights in FER(LL), AER(LL), ATR, FTR, Motor Rm. Several lights required new bulbs. One light missing in After battery from port emergency lighting and one light missing in After battery from stbd emergency lighting. All other lights work.
